Yin yoga practice is an opportunity to make a shift into quiet stillness of your being. This session gives you a chance to explore natural procession into deeper meditative states.
Yin yoga is also a powerful practice that targets tendons, ligaments and fascia within the body. Yin Yoga involves a relaxed, therapeutic practice of floor postures that are held from three to five minutes at a time. There are far fewer asanas in Yin than are found in more active yoga styles but they are designed to complement and enhance any other physical practice.
A gong bath is a deeply relaxing experience allowing the mind and body to relax and re-charge. The sounds of the gongs “wash” over the body, “bathing” you in soothing sounds and vibrations , leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed. There is no water involved and you remain fully clothed for the experience. There is no movement or exercise for yourself, you just lie back and relax!
Gongs have been used for thousands of years by ancient civilisations. The sounds and vibrations ‘bathe’ the body, releasing blockages and allowing energy to flow freely.
Gong Baths can help with numerous issues such as tension, stress. Sound can penetrate where other therapies can’t, making people feel relaxed and re-energised.
